They will return your email within 48 hours and 24 hours for any urgent requests. Their office hours are Mon to Fri 0900 – 1700.
We have attached a booking form for both your flights and accommodation needs, which we advise you to fill out and return to our office asap in order to process your first requests. A copy of your passport is required at this time or your booking will not be processed.

We have created a table of the most direct flight schedule into Queenstown, using a mix of carriers, Air New Zealand, Virgin, Jetstar and Qantas. This table and other specific printed information is available on the conference website under the ‘Travel’ tab. It is highly recommended that all delegates book flights through them to ensure they can provide flexibility, competitive pricing & streamlined organisation for your conference experience.
Flight times (approx only) into Queenstown are as follows:
SYD direct: 3 hrs 05 min
MEL direct: 3 hrs 05 min indirect: 4 hrs 25 min
BNE direct: 3 hrs 30 min indirect: 4 hrs 40 min
ADL indirect: 4 hrs 50 min
PER indirect: 6 hrs 40 min
TAS indirect: 4 hrs 20 min
Besides managing your flights, they can organise your accommodation, airport transfers and any additional activities you wish to include in your trip. Your customised itinerary will make the trip a stress free highlight of your year.
Please note that all fares quoted are inclusive of tax, meals & beverages, in flight entertainment & 1 piece (max weight 23 kilos) of checked luggage per person.
All fares are based on one way tickets, so you can optimise your flying schedule to suit your individual needs.
DEPARTURE TAX
The New Zealand departure charge is $25nzd and payable by cash or credit card at the BNZ (Bank of New Zealand) office at the airport after you check in. Children under 12 years of age (except Wellington which charges NZ$10 for children are exempt).
PASSPORTS
All visitors to New Zealand must carry a passport that is valid for at least three months beyond the date you intend to leave the country.
Our travel team will require a copy of your passport to be scanned and emailed to our office in order to process your booking.
VISAS
Visa’s are not required to travel into New Zealand for Australian Passport holders. All other passport holders should enquire at time of booking to ensure you are covered.
PASSENGER NAMES
It is very important that you provide your name AS PER YOUR PASSPORT when booking with our travel team. Failure to do so will prevent you boarding the aircraft and a separate ticket would need to be issued at further costs to you – if available.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly suggested that all persons travelling overseas take out Medical Insurance to prevent larger costs to you should you need medical assistance whilst travelling. Baggage claims and stolen items etc are also covered.
We can provide Travel Insurance through QBE at a reduced group rate for the duration of your stay in New Zealand or can provide an annual policy for those of you whom travel more frequently. Please fill out the Travel Insurance form and we will provide a quote for this service. If you are planning to ski whilst in NZ please ensure you tick for Snow Sports Cover on the form provided.
AIRPORT/HOTEL TRANSFERS
Travel to and from Queenstown Airport to Millennium Hotel will be organised to meet your individual flights via mini bus. This will be costed into you package.
Travel time to and from the hotel to Queenstown International Airport is approx 10-15minutes.
CLIMATE
Spring (September - November)
Temperature range: 8ºC to 15ºC
The weather can be unpredictable in Spring. It can be warm and sunny, the next minute showery and windy. Snow can still fall at the ski resorts and the locals know that spring often brings the best skiing.
CLOTHING
Dress in layers for the Alpine environment. It’s always advisable to travel with a good thermal layer to keep you nice and warm and a windproof jacket to protect you from the chill.

TIME ZONE
In the months of September, Queenstown is 2 hours ahead of Syd, Mel, Bne, Hba 2 ½ hours ahead of Adl & 4 hours ahead of Perth.
CURRENCY
New Zealand's unit of currency is the New Zealand dollar (NZ$).
Automated Teller Machines (ATM) are widely available at banks, along main shopping streets and in malls. International credit cards and ATM cards will work as long as they have a four-digit PIN encoded. Check with your bank before leaving home.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast can be purchased at a cost of NZD $28.00 per person per day including GST, payable direct to your room account upon check out. There are no discounts available to pre-purchase breakfast vouchers.
Breakfast is served in the Observatory Restaurant on site from 6am to10am daily.

Skiing: For all you ski enthusiasts out there you would already be aware of the great ski conditions during the month of September. The following resorts are in close proximity to Queenstown: Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Treble Cone & Cardrona.
Shotover Jet Canyon Experience: The world’s most famous and exciting jet boat ride. Shotover Jet is the only company permitted to operate in the spectacular Shotover River canyons. This thrilling canyon ride, past sheer rock walls and flowing waters is sure to be furious and fun.
Milford Sound Cruise: Enjoy the alpine scenery, a spectacular cruise into New Zealands most famous waterway. En route you will drive through dense rainforest, towering mountains, glacial lakes and alpine herb fields.
Milford Sound Heli Flight: If you don’t have time to take in a full day by road and cruise, then take to the skies and view the spectacular scenery by air. On completion of your heli flight you are taken to the Tutulo Glacier before returning to Queenstown.
